Train Conductor Mickey Mouse commemorates the Disneyland® Park Attraction - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in this Limited Edition pin. This attraction opened on September 2, 1979 in the Frontierland® area of the Disneyland® Park. The pin has a dangle that says "E Ticket Disneyland" and Mickey is a pin-on-pin.

Disneyland Hotel 2000 - Annual Passholder Guest only pin - Neverland Pool

This pin was given to guests who stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in September of 2000. The picture depicts the (then) new "Neverland Pool" it shows the little crocodile slide, the Pirate ship and the skull rock slide, it says "Disneyland Hotel 2000" This pin was only available to Disneyland annual passholders who stayed at the hotel during September of 2000. It was not available to all guests.

Disneyland 1999 Annual Passholder Renewal Incentive pin !!!

Pin was available during 1999 and only to Disneyland Annual Passholders who renewed their Annual Passes that year. The pin shows Mickey Mouse, in a white and blue spacesuit, floating over the words "1999 Disneyland Park Annual Passholder." "1999" and "Annual Passholder" are in blue; "Disneyland Park" is in red over a gold background. Behind Mickey is a purple circle rimmed in gold.

The pin measures 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/8". The backstamp reads, "© DISNEY, CHINA."

Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle with Mickey Mouse from year 2000 - Hard to find !!!!

On a gold background, Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle is in blue, red flags flying. Mickey is sitting, head in hands, in front of it. The word Disneyland is at the bottom.

The birds were singing and the flowers were crooning in 1963. This pin remembers the Opening of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland®. Did you know?

This classic attraction opened on June 23, 1963. It was the first attraction to feature Audio-Animatronics® figures. Originally, the Enchanted Tiki Room was to have been a restaurant. The idea changed when it was realized that people would stop eating to watch the show. The restaurant would have never been able to keep up with the reservations!

In 1964, Julie Reihm was selected by Walt Disney as the first Disneyland® Ambassador. This pin celebrates the selection of the first "Disneyland Ambassador to the world.". The Disney Ambassador Program continues today. Ambassadors are found at each of the Disney Theme Parks around the world, including Hong Kong Disneyland opening in September 2005. Following a detailed selection process, Ambassadors are selected for a year-long assignment to represent the friendly and diverse Cast Members of a particular Disney destination. For the Disneyland® Resort's Happiest Homecoming On Earth, Julie Andrews was named an honorary "Disney ambassador to the world."

"The Disneyland Tenth Anniversary Show" aired on January 3, 1965. During the broadcast, Walt Disney gave Julie Reihm, the first Disneyland® Ambassador, a sneak preview of several new attractions coming to Disneyland® Park including Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. The Tencennial Celebration at Disneyland® Park also included a new parade.

Did you know?

The parade's synthesizer music is based on a piece called "Baroque Hoedown," with themes from Disney songs worked in. The parade did not run in 1975 and 1976 because of America on Parade for the Bicentennial, but it returned in 1977 with a whole new edition. A 108-foot-long "Honor America" finale unit was added in 1979.

Did you know?

This attraction was originally planned as an "anchor" attraction for New Tomorrowland in 1967. With the construction and opening of Walt Disney World®, plans were put on hold. Finally in June 1975, construction began on the 200-foot wide building. By the time the mountain was built, it had used approximately 1,000 tons of steel! In 2005, a new Space Mountain debuted as part of the Happiest Homecoming On Earth, complete with new special effects and music.

Did you know?

Marking 25 years of operation, the history and heritage of Disneyland® became the focus of new entertainment such as the "Disneyland Is Your Land" stage show and in the "25th Birthday Parade," which took a nostalgic look at each of the park's seven themed lands. However, the biggest anniversary event was a 25-hour party which lasted from July 16 at midnight to 1 a.m. on July 18. All attractions and stores remained open around the clock while top performers played all over the park. On July 17, the actual anniversary date, a special ceremony was held in Town Square which ended with the release of 25,000 silver and white balloons.

Created in cooperation with George Lucas, Star Tours Opened on January 9, 1987 in Tomorrowland® This pin features the "Star Tours" logo and a StarSpeeder 3000 as a pin-on-pin. The planet spins while the dangle reads, "Disneyland Resort." Chris Chapman from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin.

Did you know?

With the opening of this attraction, it marked the first time an aerospace simulator was used in a theme park. Many of the original props and miniatures from the Star Wars triology were used when making this attraction. The voice of the trainee pilot, REX, is provided by Paul Reubens.

Magical Milestones - 1989 - Splash Mountain Opens (Release date 10 September 2005) *

Guests can find their "Laughin' Place" with this great pin. Splash Mountain opened in Critter Country on July 17, 1989. This pin features Brer Rabbit mounted on a spring so he moves from side-to-side. The "Splash Mountain" logo is a pin-on-pin. Disney Design Group Artist Chris Chapman designed this pin.

At opening, this attraction featured the longest flume chute in the world - 52-feet at a 45 degree angle. Disney designer Tony Baxter came up with the idea for the attraction while stuck in his car during rush-hour traffic in 1983

Magical Milestones - 2000 - Disneyland® Celebrates 45 Years (Release date 10 September 2005)

The year 2000 marked the 45th Anniversary of the Disneylandland® Resort. This pin remembers that festival occasion with a huge "45" as a pin-on-pin. Also pictured is a stylized golden-colored "Partners" statue featuring Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. Tyler Dumas from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin.

From Disneyland's fabulous, joyous celebration during the Celebrating 50 Years of Magical Memories Event on July 15-17, 2005 at the Disneyland® Resort.

This Limited Edition pin commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Disneyland® Resort - July 17, 1955 to July 17, 2005. The pin also features an image of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse and several Disneyland® Attractions.

Limited to two pins per Registered Event Guest through the Event Random Selection Process (RSP). Remaining quantities were distributed to DL Resort locations in limited supply for the event. Remaining edition was available at the Resort on July 17.

The blue image is framed in sparkly yellow / orange with gold starbursts all around. Top reads "Disneyland" and the bottom has the dates "July 17, 1955 - July 17, 2005".

Pin is 1 5/8 inches tall by 1 3/8 inches wide.

DLR Magical Milestones - Enchanted Tiki Room - Stitch - LE 2000 dangle pin-on-pin

Hey everybody! It's time to wake up Jose ... er, Stitch? It look like Stitch has invaded the Enchanted Tiki Room and replaced Jose. This Limited Edition pin features Stitch as a dangle. Stitch has also crossed out Jose's name and put his own name on Jose's nameplate. The pin was designed by Dawn Ockstadt from Disney Design Group. 35 Years of Magic - Disneyland Sleeping Beauty's Castle Anniversary LE pin from year 1990

The pin was issued to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Disneyland. It features Sleeping Beauty's castle in teal, purple and fushsia.

Limited Edition of an unknown size. Reverse marked C Disney, Taiwan.

VERY hard to find pin from the 35th anniversary celebrations back in 1990, and in very good condition - One only!

Jungle Cruise - DLR 1998 Attractions Series pin

The Jungle Cruise was one of a series of pins released in the summer of 1998, prior to the official start of Disney pin trading, featuring some of the favorite attractions at Disneyland over the years - both present at that time and retired.

This pin features a Jungle Cruise boat, in brown, orange and tan, moving from the back right to the front left; a gray hippopotamus is in the lower right-hand side with its mouth open toward the boat. Above the boat are the words "Jungle Cruise" and beneath is the Disneyland® logo.

The pin measures 1 9/16" wide and 1 1/4" tall. The backstamp reads "DISNEY."

This is the Cast Member Exclusive Minnie-opolis 5k Pin.

This is a 3D pin with Minnie raised up off the pin. The pin says "5K Minnieopolis Charity Event".

This pin is for the Tomorrowland Attractions 5K Charity Event benefiting Aids Walk, that Orange County held at Disneyland on May 29th, 2001.

On the back it says "DLR Cast Event Exclusive, Limited Edition 2000".

One in a series of pins replicating signs throughout Disneyland, released in year 2000. This one is for The Gag Factory in ToonTown. Disneyland - Opening Team pin - 2001 Watch - YES!! It really is a pin!!!

This pin is a replica of the countdown watch that was released to Disneyland Cast Members in 2000, before the 2001 opening of California Adventure and Downtown Disney. (With those additions came the name change to Disneyland Resort.) The watches were pre-set, and counted down the days until opening. This pin was given to Cast Members to mark the first anniversary of the opening. The 4" long pin looks just like the watch, with the Disneyland Resort logo and the year 2001 on the face. The pin is hinged on either side of the face just as a watch strap would be. On the band it reads "Opening Team." Limited Edition 5000.

Frontierland with Big Pete - 1986 pin from Disneyland's 30th Anniversary Celebrations!!!! WOW!!

The pin is for Frontierland, featuring Pete. It has circular tips, which were added to the points of the star to prevent injuries - The first, withdrawn version, had VERY sharp points that were deemed to be dangerous, especially to young kids.

These were gifts during the 30th Anniversary celebration at Disneyland

Disneyland - Sleeping Beauty Castle from year 2000

Sleeping Beauty Castle is pictured as one of a series of pins commemorating favorite Disneyland attractions for the time, both present and past.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle is pink with blue roof, and rises in front of a white cloud. Green grass is in the foreground along with the Disneyland logo.

This pin has a copper-plate finish. It measures 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/8" tall. The backstamp says: RELEASED IN THE YEAR 2000, DISNEY, CHINA.

Disneyland Mickey Mouse 2000 - LE 2000

Very fine pin from Disneyland, featuring the 'MM' 2000 logo shared that year with WDW in Florida. Getting VERY hard to come by, as this was a Limited Edition of just 2000 pins - and everyone just had to have one!!

Disneyland 8th Annual Choc Community Walk

Fabulou pin, isued to those participating in the annual charity walk organised by Disneyland on October 11th 1998. The pin has lots of great detail, including a 'spaceman teddy bear', with '8' on his costume!

Disneyland Hotel 'VIP' pin

This is a very neat and discrete golden pin, which VIP guests at the Disneyland Hotel were given to wear, so that Cast Members at the hotel could easily identify them, and ensure they received the best possible service. We believe this practice has now stopped, which seems a shame! The pin is about a half inch square.
