Magical Milestones - 1992 - Fantasmic Opens (Release date 10 September 2005) *

Beginning May 13, 1992, the night-time spectacular Fantasmic! opened along the Rivers of America in Frontierland®. This pin features Sorcerer Mickey battling Maleficent the Dragon. Maleficent's fire slides from side-to-side and the "Fantasmic!" logo is a pin-on-pin. Disney Design Group Artist Chris Chapman designed this pin.

To prepare Fantasmic!, the Rivers of America had to be drained to enable the installation of various mechanisms, and the mill and part of the south end of Tom Sawyer Island were removed so the rustic stage setting for the show could be built!!

From the Series 3 Cast Member Lanyard Pin Series.

A replica of the Film Parking lot sign at MGM. Showing Minnie in a red dress (with NO SPOTS!!!) operating a TV camera against a yellow background, above a turquoise blue marquee with the word Television on it. It also has a small hidden Mickey to identify it as a lanyard pin (on the TV camera).

This pin was released during the Disney MGM Studios 'On With the Show' Pin Event. It represents A Child's Imagination at Playhouse Disney. The charater on the pin is "Jesse" the girl that hosts Playhouse Disney Live.

This pin is a green book that reads Playhouse Disney Life on Stage. The character on the pin is "Jesse" the girl that hosts Playhouse Disney Live, standing next to the book with a little blue rocket ship which is part of the Playhouse Disney opening sticking out of the book. The little blue rocket ship / lantern slides back and forth.

This is the Playhouse Disney Press pin from the 100 Years of Magic Press Event at Walt Disney World. The Sorcerer Mickey Hat appears at the top of the pin. This pin is one of sixteen press pins and was only available to the media who visited certain attractions at specific times during the Press Event.

The pin measures 1 1/2" wide by 1 5/8" tall. The reverse reads, "c Disney, Taiwan."
