MAPO (Disney's Manufacturing and Production Organization) is the old name for the construction arm / company of Imagineering, before it was all folded into one organisation. Walt Disney used the profits from Mary Poppins to start it up. Hence the name MAry POppins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Limited Edition pin celebrates the animated short, "Flowers and Trees." Originally begun as a black and white cartoon, this Silly Symphony cartoon was finished in color at Walt Disney's insistence. He believed color would greatly enhance animation. The first animated short in color was released on July 30, 1932. This pin features an image of Walt Disney with a scene from "Flowers and Trees." This image is hinged with the cover in black and white. When opened, the pin reveals the same scene in full color. Glenn Winters from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin.

This Limited Edition pin celebrates the collection of animated shorts, "The Alice Comedies." Between 1924 and 1927, Walt Disney produced a series of fifty six silent cartoons featuring a live girl acting in Cartoonland. These shorts were Walt Disney's first attempt at combining live action with animation. This spinner / flip pin features an image of Walt Disney on one side and the title image for "The Alice Comedies" on the other. The inkwell is a pin-on-pin. This pin was designed by Disney Design Group Artist Alex Maher.

This Limited Edition pin celebrates the animated short, Plane Crazy. This pin is hinged and features a pin-on-pin vintage Mickey Mouse on the cover. When opened, an image of Mickey and Minnie flying in an airplane and kissing. A photo of Walt Disney is also seen. Mickey is reading a book called "How To Fly".

This Limited Edition pin features a photo of Walt Disney during the 1965 press conference, and features Mickey Mouse pin-on-pin over a map of Florida. Mickey - dressed as Walt !!!! - points to the location of Walt Disney World®, similar to Walt Disney during his film about the so-called "Florida Project".

This Limited Edition pin commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Disneyland® Resort - July 17, 1955 to July 17, 2005. The pin also features an image of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse and several Disneyland® Attractions.

Limited to two pins per Registered Event Guest through the Event Random Selection Process (RSP). Remaining quantities were distributed to DL Resort locations in limited supply for the event. Remaining edition was available at the Resort on July 17.

The blue image is framed in sparkly yellow / orange with gold starbursts all around. Top reads "Disneyland" and the bottom has the dates "July 17, 1955 - July 17, 2005".
