Big Pete Hidden Mickey / Lanyard Pin - Silver Pirate Coin / Doubloon (Released November 2006)

This Pirate Pete Coin / Doubloon is part of the Hidden Mickey Collection, which is to replace the older Cast Lanyard Pin Series. This version is silver in color and is missing the "Walt Disney World" across the front. Along the bottom is a Hidden Mickey head.

Part of a set of pins given to WDS Cast Members in 1992, marking some of Disney's newest 'interests' at the time. Reverse marked 'Disney, Taiwan' - always the sign of an old pin!!!

This is a great pin - in the early 90's, a line of products known as "Tuff Mickey" were launched. Here, Mickey faces up to Pete in the boxing ring with "Show No Fear!" written underneath. Strange color scheme on this one !! The pin measures approx. 1 1/4" tall.

Frontierland with Big Pete - 1986 pin from Disneyland's 30th Anniversary Celebrations!!!! WOW!!

The pin is for Frontierland, featuring Pete. It has circular tips, which were added to the points of the star to prevent injuries - The first, withdrawn version, had VERY sharp points that were deemed to be dangerous, especially to young kids.

These were gifts during the 30th Anniversary celebration at Disneyland
